This longstanding “Art House” cinema has over the decades provided residents of Brunswick and surrounding towns with a link to Hollywood and beyond. After changing ownership in 2011, the new owner with an extensive background in films and film festivals saw the need to expand the one screen venue to enable a greater diversity of film options. This coupled with the required conversion to digital from the old reel to reel hastened the process.

Together with the owner our office has explored several options and locations, looking at new construction versus renovation. While the process has not been totally successful to date the plans and renderings generated have given not only the owner but potential investors a concrete proposal from which to evaluate this very ambitious undertaking.
