Topsham Downeast Credit Union

Located on Main Street in Topsham, adjacent the new municipal complex this small branch for this established credit union is their first venture into the Southern Maine market. Based in Baileyville, Maine, Down East Credit Union asked us to design a compact branch to house both their banking and insurance offices. We developed a light and open plan integrating the current technology while retaining the “down east” atmosphere around which the Credit Union was started.

Glass partitioned offices and a closing room along with a energy efficient shell became the “proto-type” for a second branch several towns over in Richmond.
